WORLSCHOOLING South of the USA Border, 2019 - 2024

We left the USA in June 2019 and headed south of the border for relaxing times. The suffocating humidity of the Yucatan helped Burt with his neuropathy, a common side effect of chemo. After vacationing few a few days in Cancun and outside of Tulum, we enjoyed living in a village environment of other traveling families at Anahata Worldschool in Ek Balam. It was a beautiful experience for Cee to be surrounded by children that he could run out our bedroom door to play with at any time and for us to sight-see with other families. We preferred our trips to the cenotes, which are sink holes in the Earth that are filled with pristine water, for escaping the brutal heat of the jungle humidity in the summer. We made lasting connections with many families at Anahata whom we continued to see over the next few years.
